Exactly What We Need – Chilling Out in Palm Beach County

My husband complains about the weather this time of year. Coming from the north, he sometimes under-appreciates summertime in Florida, so I make sure he gets a healthy dose of cool things to do in Palm Beach County.

For the second year in a row, we’ll slide into Winter in July on July 12 & 13 at the Palm Beach Zoo. It’s a sure winner for my family; the kids all love animals, and while enjoying the critters, live music, interactive games, juggling lessons, and a visit from the Snow Queen, they’ll also learn about Sun Safety.

We found a discount coupon online, and did I mention the Zoo will have 40 tons of snow to play in? I’ve had to live in the white stuff before; give me this kind of Winter Wonderland any day!

Long as we’re nearby, we’ll drop in for Shark Saturday on the 12th at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. My youngest is fascinated by sharks; bet he’ll be thrilled to touch genuine shark jaws and fossil shark teeth from all over the world.
